Red Rocks Park & Amphitheater

The most famous site in Denver is Red Rocks Park & Amphitheater, which is about 15 miles outside of the city center. If you don’t have a car, a shuttle is available to take you there. Denver owns Red Rocks, a location for live music and a city park. The magnificent red sandstone rock formations that can be seen along the pathways and serve as the walls of the outdoor amphitheater are the source of the name.

In season, the facility draws top live music performers and is renowned for its acoustics. The Colorado Music Hall of Fame, which tells the biographies of Colorado’s greatest musicians, is a must-visit location for music enthusiasts.
